There is an emotional and sentimental perspective to our story. We always desire to connect it to our parents so that our Recipes and taste takes us back to our grassroots.
When Three friends had a vision to commence a restaurant but not just any restaurant, one which could take us back to the nostalgic times, we spent our childhood days at our THARAVADU having a mouthful of grandmas specially cooked meals.
After few years of planning and effort we were able to pull through our vison to make our dream into a reality opening a location in Scarborough. We wanted to bring it out to the people, a mix of every part of India from the bygone era to the contemporary world. Because India is so diverse and each community has its own style of recipes and cooking patterns. We would love our consumers to discover India in what we offer.
A chef is the master of the kitchen. Working as a head chef for many years, with his abundance knowledge was able to get his hands on what dishes he had to offer and much more.
